Tony Anderson

A Chemical Engineer/Chemist by background, Tony worked for 20 years with one of the world’s largest industrial gases companies, later roles where employee competency and risk management were the key controls in a very high hazard environment, and emergency response to incidents involving highly toxic and corrosive materials. This led to an extended tenure as global manager for Management Systems and Operating/Technical Standards, from pilot project in 1997 to uptake across 65 countries by 2001. The design elements of this system are still in use today, with a number of industry awards along the way. Since 2002, Tony has worked with hundreds of clients all over the world, with a balanced and economic approach to enhance client operations and processes.

Darrell Sim

With a background in Organisation Development, Darrell has focused on the strategic design, management and implementation of competency development programs geared towards improvements in employee learning and career progression. Based in Edmonton, Canada, Darrel can help revolutionise the realms of training and career growth by introducing newer, innovative, yet systematic approaches towards learner development. Darrell has also been leading several business process re-engineering projects – if you want Stakeholder engagament, an RACI Matrix, Governance protocol or Communications Plan, we can assist!

Brett Palmer

Brett has vast direct experience across numerous industry sectors, including Banking, Insurance, Agribusiness, Retail, Telecommunications, and Energy / Infrastructure. Brett has held senior Risk Management and Audit roles with numerous companies, including a number of ASX listed entities. His experience extends across international boundaries into Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He has developed and implemented Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks and achieved an increased level of Risk Management effectiveness.. Brett’s approach is driven by the need to align Risk Management to the organisation’s culture, to keep it simple and make it work. Risk Management should be an enabler. Understanding risks and having confidence in controls should enable businesses to pursue with confidence the opportunities risks create.

Tony Self

Tony Self has worked as a technical communicator for almost 30 years, specialising in online help systems, computer-based training, and hypertext documents. Tony is an Adjunct Teaching Fellow at Swinburne University of Technology. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communication, and holds a PhD in semantic mark-up languages, a Graduate Diploma in Technical Communication, and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. He is the author of “The DITA Style Guide”. In his spare time, he is an aerobatic pilot, seen here ‘holding up’ a Pitts Special.

Jey Cristian

With a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, Jey Cristian is now a professional piping engineer with experience in both the office and the field. He is skilled in piping engineering & design, with proven expertise in tie-in planning for brownfield projects and as-built drawing production after the construction phase. Jey’s experience with Fluor for 10 years saw him involved in billion-dollar projects, such as the Gladstone LNG Upstream, and several large tie-ins including LDK Polysilicon in China.
